KILN FORMED
Hello, my name is Sandy Dukeshire and I have been a glass artist for 17 years.

My love for glass started with a community stained glass class in my hometown of Andover Massachusetts. A short time later I enrolled in an advanced stained glass class at the Museum School of Fine Arts. After several years the natural progression began when I enrolled in a glass blowing class at Massachusetts College of Art.

Around the same time a good friend gave me a large used kiln (thanks Glenn!) and there was no turning back. I began fusing glass like crazy. I took another glass blowing class at Mass Art and realized I needed more furnace experience.

This led me to an apprenticeship at Hurstin Glass and Metal. It was there that I honed my glass blowing skills and transformed from student to studio assistant.

Laced within all of this I have been teaching stained glass classes for the Tewksbury MA Senior Center and The Essex Art Center, located in Lawrence MA. The teaching of hundreds of workshops including stepping stones, jewelry, glass fusing and, of course, stained glass has rounded out my career.

As a prolific artist I have collected a large inventory of my work, which has led me to the selling of my creations to several local stores. I have also had many commissions to create large custom items.

A desire to expand distribution has resulted in the creation of this website. My goal is to cultivate professional relationships with qualified wholesale customers. If you would like to inquire about carrying my creations, just press the button at the bottom of the page or click here.

Those wishing to purchase my products from retail outlets may view a current store list by clicking here.
