MOSAIC

The above photos show the shower surrond I made for my daughters bathroom. The island on the right hand side of the lower photo is made of rocks and minerals. One rock is engraved with the word LAUGH. When asked why, most folks already have a smile on their face, so I guess that answers the question.

A trio of tables. These little guys are always fun to make.

Since I like rocks so much, deciding to use them was a natural choice. This border measures 6 1/2 inches high and about 25 feet long. Using the indirect assembly method, this project took 3 weeks.

Below is a detail to show the random pattern.

Another sweet little end table!

A cool visual affect is achieved with the addition of mirror as in the center of this table.

Stepping stone cast from Diamond Crete.

Pattern is first layed out on contact paper in bottom of mold then the castable is added.

Butterfly stepping stone,

made in the same fashion as the above using stained glass.

This chair was made for a fundraiser at the

Essex Art Center.

The event is named

Take A Seat.

You can tell by the seat that this chair came from the art center. It was my favorite to use in class.
