NECKLACES

Not all of my necklaces are made strictly from glass as I love working with other things gathered from the beach or lake. Sometimes its just therapeutic to pound some copper.
Heavy gauage copper wire is bent, flattened then bound before being attached to an adjustable cord. Sweet.
Beautiful art glass has been mounted to a copper backing plate that mimicks the shape of the glass. Wire that has a flowing look adds to the design.
Above, left to right, a beach stone hanges in front of a flattened quarter and finished in sterling silver wire. Center photo features a wrapped shell and forged copper backing plate. Photo on right is a combed glass cab with forged copper backingplate combined with an abjustable cord and handmade copper chain. Below is a pottery shard made into a nice summer necklace.
